St Andrea Bikaver Hangacs 2021

One of my favourite reds from the Para Dewa collection. This is an elegant, fruit-forward wine with flavours of black and red cherry, blackberry, violets, and a hint of pepper. Its extended time in oak (earning the Grand Superior title) adds notes of cloves, chocolate, and tobacco. With balanced acidity and tannins, it's versatile for food pairing. Enjoy it with a rich Indian curry, meat or veg stews (goulash!), grilled meats on the barbeque, or just sitting on your own on the sofa for a date night for one (or two if you are willing to share). Drinking beautifully now, but will also age well.
