Lighter bodied red wine

Occasion: Christmas lunch or to sip on its own

Food Pairing: Perfect with turkey

Tasting notes: Made from Kadarka, a thin skinned grape indigenous to Hungary. This is a fresh red wine, with aromas of cranberries and wild strawberries. Vida Peter has made the decision to let the grape speak for itself, and so it is spontaneously fermented (no added yeast) in 100% stainless steel and is kept unfiltered. Because these grapes are from 100 year old vines, there is an unusual intensity despite the grape and wine making style.
