Pelle "Szent Tamas" Tokaj Furmint 2020

This is a beautifully made white wine to have when you want to push the boat out and impress your wine lovigng friends. It beautifully blends the versatile Furmint grape, the unique terroir of Szent Tamás, and expert wine-making. With mild fruit aromas of peaches and nectarines, almonds, and some toastiness, good acidity, a slightly salty finish, and generous texture, it is perfect for pairing with food. The Szent Tamás Furmint can be paired with different cuisines. I’ve had it with fish cooked in ginger and chilli, it goes well with pork or chicken cooked in buttery sauces (or schnitzel!), and also with hard cheeses and nuts. You could age this further, but I think it's drinking perfectly now!
