Lajver's 2021 Szsekszardi Kadarka is a perfect expression of the Kadarka grape - a thin skinned, dark coloured grape. This is a vibrant light bodied red wine, with flavours of sour cherries, currants, and a slight hint of spiciness. There's a refreshing acidity and astringency to this wine, and I love serving it slightly chilled. This would pair nicely with grilled vegetables and meats, but would also work with tuna or salmon.
