Yamantiev Cabernet Merlot Reserve 2016

A classic full bodied Bordeaux blend from the Thracian Valley in Bulgaria. Blackberries, bramble, with flavours of cedar and spice from its time in French oak. Tertiary flavours of forest floor and mushroom are starting to show as well. This wine could age further, but I think it's drinking perfectly this Christmas. I would have it with beef or game. It would be superb with a beef wellington!
