Lajver Kekfrankos

Kekfrankos has very similar characteristics to pinot noir. This kekfrankos by Lajver was fermented in steel, and then partially aged for 12 months in Hungarian oak. This is very fruit led (ripe strawberries, blackcurrants, blackberries) with a gentle spiciness that comes from its time in oak. This is another great fireplace wine to get you through long winter evenings, but is equally good with hearty stews and pasta sauces.
